QUESTIONNAIRE IS LAUNCHED!

At a special meeting of Committee members and Parish and District Councillors, the Parish Plan Questionnaire was officially launched on Friday 12^th March 2004. The meeting was held at the Sanderum Centre, courtesy of Richard Boughton, and we were honoured by the presence of the Lord Lieutenant of Oxfordshire, Hugo Brummer.

The Questionnaire has been based on the results of the Open Forum last year, and the information gathered by the Committee from the various clubs, societies, and interest groups in and around the Village. Volunteer workers have now delivered one Questionnaire per household, and in order to maximise the return they will go back to their areas in two weeks to ensure that the form has been filled in. If the householder prefers, there are three convenient drop-off points from where the completed forms will be collected.

It is most important that we maximise the return of the completed Questionnaires as they will form the base information from which we will develop the final business plan. Without a sound numerical basis, we will be unable to justify the results, and the Plan must fail. So please!!!!!, take the time and trouble to give us your opinions through the Questionnaire. If we have not covered a particular point that you consider necessary, there is space left free on the back page for your comments.

Once all the information from the returns has been collated, the job of setting out a draft report will commence. That draft will then be discussed with all interested parties before becoming the final plan. As each further stage is completed we will of course keep you informed of the progress.
